We are looking for a talented Senior Technical Designer who is passionate about making games, and whose skill set combines a solid technical background with a decent number of soft skills. You will reinforce the Technical Design team that is working on Vigor, and eventually transfer to a new unannounced project in the future. You will focus on implementing and maintaining gameplay systems, managing the development of various features, and providing technical expertise in the refinement of design documents.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with design, programming, and art departments to implement and tweak the game’s systems and mechanics
- Manage the development of particular features
- Take part in the creative process by suggesting tweaks and new features
- Provide insightful technical feedback to design documents, including time estimates and risk assessment
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the game
- Collaborate with leads and producers on improving workflows
- Provide guidance and best practices to less experienced team members
Requirements
- Strong scripting skills; able to autonomously produce well-structured and flawless scripted systems
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding production flows and their consequences
- Ability to assess precise time estimates and identify possible risks
- Good spoken and written English
- Skilled communicator; able to explain technical stuff to non-technical people
- A team player with a passion for creating cutting-edge video game experiences
Nice to Have
- A computer science or game design degree
- Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity, Enfusion)
- Knowledge of C++
- Experience with developing for consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch)
